There are six England imparement specific teams as well as an England women's Deaf team. Disability
football at an International level is developing at a rapid pace,
with most of the teams now competing in European and World Championships.
The most notable performance so far has come from the England
Learning Disability squad which won the World Cup in Japan in
2002. |

managers of each England squad are always looking for new players
and cannot stress the importance for clubs to nominate them to the
regional disability centres of excellence. |
