The Irish FA

The
IFA's aim is to ensure that all disabled people have the
opportunity to take part in football and are able to fulfil
their potential.The IFA's strategy for the development of
disability football focussing on five key areas:
- To
raise the profile and awareness of Disability Football in
Northern Ireland
- To
increase the number of disabled performers participating
in football activities
- To
improve the quality of training available to disabled performers
- To
establish and develop new and existing competition structures
- To
continue the development of performance pathways and opportunities
for elite performers to excel

The IFA currently supports three international disability
squads:

Learning Disability (Moderate) Squad

Visually Impared Squad

Cerebal Palsy Squad
There
are development plans to introduce coaching and competitive
opportunities for amputees and wheelchair users in the near
