The
Visually Impaired Football league is part of the Football Section
of British Blind Sport. The league is dedicated to providing the
opportunity for VI players to participate and compete professionally
organised football events.
These events are held throughout the UK and include our annual
football 5-a-sdie ‘Futsal’ league played from October
to April, single day cup events, friendly 11-a-side matches and
‘have a go’ days designed to encourage visually impaired
people to give football a try.
The
league comprises of two divisions and is made up of teams from
across the UK. Games are played at 5-a-side on indoor pitches.
